Fans of Howard Stern are going to have a shortened week of his SiriusXM Radio show due to a tonight's live showing of "America's Got Talent," however, he might be trying to tough it out in the future.

Howard Stern said he would be taking August 12 off because he's doing "America's Got Talent" live this evening, according to a MarksFriggin report.

"He said he knows people get bummed out when they do that but he's not 20 years old anymore. Howard said he has to calm down after he gets home. He said that takes like an hour," according to the rehash.

Robin Quivers questioned what Stern does in the time he's winding down and his response was masturbation. It looks like Stern might be thinking about giving fans their complete weeks and no more days off.

"Howard said he's going to try out one Wednesday and see how that goes. Howard said he may do a Wednesday show. Howard said they're using up all of their days off on Wednesdays," according to MarksFriggin.

Stern cited the issues with taking Wednesday's off as one of the reasons he is quitting "America's Got Talent." He doesn't like what it's doing to his vacation schedule and it doesn't look like it's worth it to him.

"Howard said he's not taking off in October because of that and he also needs some down time. He said now he has to stare at Benjy through October," according to the rundown.

Despite his complaints about "America's Got Talent" and the impact it has had on his vacation and radio time, Stern was still enthusiastic about tonight's show.
