The best things about The Discovery Channel's "Naked And Afraid" are the most awkward ones. On Sunday, December 7, a special episode of "Naked And Afraid" recounted all of our favorite, seriously awkward situations from the show's history.

The show's premise is simple: a man and woman team up to survive in remote wilderness for 21 days with nothing but a single personal item. Literally nothing.

You know you're watching good reality television when you feel the cathartic effect of seeing people deal with humiliating situations. Here are the moments that put "Naked And Afraid" down in reality tv history:

1. Meeting a stranger. For the first time. Naked. This is naturally a purely awkward moment. It's the first time these people are seeing each other, and they're completely bare. Watching them fumble through polite pleasantries, try to embrace the awkwardness of the moment, and attempt not to check out their buddy's goodies is totally hysterical.
2. Smelly armpits and wiping butts with leaves. With no showers and no bathrooms, keeping clean wasn't easy. One contestant had a "really honest" talk with his survival partner about the consistency of his poo. "It was really awkward," he said. "There's no other way to explain it." When your naked and surviving in the wild, how one keeps clean and deals with their excrement can get creative. "I am absolutely adamant that a smooth stone is the best butt wiping on the planet," one contestant said. You don't want mud in your butt crack.
3.

Intense snoring. Really, really loud and terrible, monstrous snoring.
4. Being shown up by a heron. One couple watched a beautiful heron (whom they named Edgar) in the Louisiana bayou catch crawfish like nbd. The pair tried to create crawfish traps and fish for them themselves, but came up miserably, miserably short.
5. Falling. The show's narrator reminded viewers that falling is embarrassing for everyone at any time, but for the survivors, they're doing it naked. And on tv. #lol
6.

When terrible jokes are told. And having to force a laugh out of politeness.
7. When contestants lose their minds. And start seeing pictures and symbols in rocks.
8. Lying. One half of the team in Brazil ate an entire coconut all by herself.

She didn't tell her partner, and even hid the evidence.
9. When there's a leech on someone's genitals. And the cameraman has to point it out.
10. Sexual tension. It's always fascinating to watch people deal with morning wood on television.

As a special addition to Sunday night's episode, Seth Rogen and James Franco took on their own "Naked And Afraid" survival challenge.

The dynamic duo that brought you "Pineapple Express" are back and starring in the movie, "The Interview," to be released on Christmas Day.
