In response to "To Kill A Mockingbird" author Harper Lee writing a second book, Mike Birbiglia posted a sarcastic tweet calling the legendary author "lazy," and whoever moderates Brooklyn Zine Fest's twitter account did not appreciate it, nope, not one bit.
Harper Lee's newest book is to be published 55 years after Pulitzer Prize-winning "To Kill A Mockingbird." Birbiglia posted this tweet as a jest, poking fun at the time span between the two novels.
Lazy author Harper Lee to release 2nd book.

But Brooklyn Zine Fest was, evidently, not amused.
@birbigs The guy with exactly one story to rehash endlessly in every medium is criticizing someone else's work ethic?

Ouch. Sassy.
Birbiglia, who doesn't have time for that sh*t, wasted no breathe explaining the comedic merit of his Tweet, and instead wished BZF all the luck in life.
@BklynZineFest My tweet was a joke, "Brooklyn Zine Fest." Good luck in life.

Because this is so ridiculous, Birbiglia followed up with this tweet, calling BZF out on their inability to perceive humor.
I didn't know people this humorless existed. pic.twitter.com/tHF6Zhceif

Oooo, damn. BZF might need some ice for that burn.
Birbiglia is well versed in sharp-tongued comedic timing, and didn't skip a beat putting Brooklyn Zine Fest in their pace.
Why does the Brooklyn Zine Fest think they have a relevant opinion on Mike Birbiglia's work ethic? We may never know.
