Tonight's Lip Sync Battle brought two of Hollywood's leading ladies to the stage. It was Emily Blunt versus Anne Hathaway and both known for their acting chops were ready to do a little song and dance.

The two even starred together in the movie Devil Meets Prada so therefore a little reunion match up.

Anne Hathaway got the night kicked off with a major song from Mary J Blige called Love. Overall it was a warm up song for Anne and she didn't get that out of control but that was inevitably going to change. Emily Blunt on the other hand went hip hop for her first song with Blackstreet's No Diggity.

It was really an amazing performance and the crowd was getting into it. Check some of it out below.

Anne Hathaway of course is probably best known musically for playing Fantine in the movie version of "Les Miserables." But tonight it was about a newer generation and she was inspired to take a shot at Miley Cyrus. Wrecking Ball was a #1 hit and her performance certainly channeled the young pop star.

Anne even took to a wrecking ball in spectacular fashion and there is no doubt that got her points with commentator Chrissy Teigen.

Emily Blunt decided to go back in time and she was inspired to sync to the powerful voice of Janis Joplin. Piece of My Heart is one of those songs that has clearly lasted the test of time and it is one of the biggest female rock vocal performances ever.

Emily made sure that she went through method acting steps normally reserved for her movies in order to immerse herself for this performance.

It was another stellar night on the new battle show. Emily and Anne came in as friends and so unfortunately somebody had to go home a loser.

The title belt is decided by a crowd response and so LL Cool J made the call that it was Anne's night and certainly it was her commitment to get on that wrecking ball helped.

Next Thursday on Spike TV LL Cool J welcomes John Krasinski aka Jim from The Office and Anna Kendrick. It'll be a lip sync aca-battle for the ages.
