Lea Delaria appeared on the 'The View' to talk about the viral video of her altercation with an outspoken religious zealot on the New York City subway.

On her way to film "Orange Is The New Black", Lea DeLaria went head to head with a man spewing his opinions on the bible, and got into a verbal showdown with him.

She was tired of him "spewing his filth."

DeLaria has been an out and proud lesbian, and is not afraid to stand up for herself.

She told "The View" ladies that he would smile condescendingly at her while she was talking, and as soon as she finished, he would start preaching again.

She declared that as long as he was talking, she would be talking, even if they were the only two people left on the train.

The video was released by TMZ. Watch Part 1 here:

The ladies on "The View" support and admire DeLaria's audacity, and are happy to have had her on the show to talk about her situation.

Since the video has gone viral, DeLaria has received lots of negative feedback, but more positive feedback than anything. You go girl!
