When it comes to impersonations done seamlessly well on SNL, Kate McKinnon is one of the best for sure. She visited the Ellen Show to chat about the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot but she also assisted Ellen DeGeneres with her monologue.

DeGeneres was going about her monologue as usual and spoke about how excited she was to have McKinnon on the show. She even praised McKinnon for her impressions of her.

It caused DeGeneres to go on about how close McKinnon got to her but out of nowhere comes McKinnon in the exact outfit that DeGeneres was wearing.

She gave DeGeneres the once over then started her spot on impression talking about Portia and how much she loves baby goats.

Hilariously enough, McKinnon even had her own footage reel showing "Ellen" saying the phrase "kitty kitty kitty cats." She continued her story as the real DeGeneres denied all of it.

What they couldn't deny was the beat as they both started dancing to DNCE's "Cake By The Ocean."

Later on they got a chance to sit down as Kate and Ellen to talk about the impressions and the upcoming Ghostbusters film also starring Kristen Wiig and Chris Hemsworth. DeGeneres asked McKinnon if she feels more pressure when she is impersonating the person while they are part of the skit. She said that there definitely is more pressure with the person there because it's like getting caught playing dress-up in your mom's closet.

Meanwhile, McKinnon says that she was able to work with the funniest women on Ghostbusters and they had a really good time while filming.
