While Kanye West praised Big Boy for being someone that accepted him when he first got into the business, he also dropped a few minor details about his upcoming album that is tentatively named Swish.
"Kanye West phoned into Big Boy's morning show and gave a small update on his long-awaited, new album, SWISH," according to Complex.
"'Ye confirmed that he's taking things very slow with the process of the album, but that he thinks things are going well."
West told Big Boy that without giving up too many details of the album, he's really be working around the sound.
He said that he had given some of his own tracks to other artists, like Rihanna's "FourFiveSeconds" and The Weeknd's "Tell Your Friends." Much like Diddy referred to his free album MMM as a sonic motion picture, West is comparing his upcoming album to a sonic painting.
"It's like a sonic painting you know, and it's getting better and better every week," said West in the phone interview with Big Boy.
Big Boy says he understands that West is taking his time with his craft and also revealed that he has heard a few songs from the album.
He said he doesn't know if West is looking at 2015 or 2016 but he can't wait to hear what else West has in store for hip-hop lovers.
