Kamala Harris is Hot

Kamala Harris is just plain cool, and she's smart and she's hot.  There, I said it.

Harris is a US Senator from California (succeeding Barbara Boxer), was the Attorney General of California, went to Howard University and got her law degree from Hastings.  Is that not hot?

Kamala (may I call her Kamala?) announced her Presidential campaign in January and has not yet caught fire with Democratic primary voters...yet.

But she will, many smart people think, because she is so very smart and engaged with the issues working people really care about.

Kamala Harris was born in Oakland, California in 1964--just barely a GenXer  Her name derives from the Sanskrit word for the lotus flower. 

Harris created the Environmental Justice Unit in the San Francisco District Attorney's Office, challenged EPA head Scott Pruitt's repeal of the Clean Power Plan, and was one of eight Senators to sponsor the Climate Risk Disclosure Act.

Harris supported the Iran nuclear deal and opposed Trump's withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.  She understands the threat of both North Korea and Syria, and equally understands the importance of our alliance with Israel.  

The also earned an "F" rating from the NRA.  I told you she was cool.

And her positions on health care, immigration, and net neutrality are all what you would hope for from a Democratic Presidential candidate.

Yet she's moderate and careful and thoughtful.  She's hot.
