Jon Stewart joined Howard Stern Tuesday morning to be brilliant in every way, and discussed why politicians are typically awful to interview.

"They are on guard," Stewart said. "They're selling, they're very cautious, they're disingenuous."

"We often times have people come on, and in their books, will make incredibly strident statements," Stewart explains. For example, he uses the hypothetical statement: "Liberals will skull f*** your grandmother." "So they'll come on the show, and you'll be like, 'You wrote in your book, "liberals will skull f*** your grandmother"'...

And they'll be like, 'No, I don't mean it like that. What I mean is, we're all the same, aren't we?'"

Stewart admits to feeling pressure when he has someone like President Barrack Obama on the show. "You feel like you're serving different masters," he said, and it can effect the conduct and quality of the interview.

"They look everything in terms of voting blocks and money," Stewart said.

Stewart believes the politicians look to him as having a sort of power over the 18-35 youth vote, and by having them on the show, can get a little bit of a boost of exposure. Because they're hip, you know?

Yesterday, November 18, Bill O'Reilly accused fans of Jon Stewart on "The O'Reilly Factor" for being the reason behind the democratic midterm losses.

The Washington Post reported: "O'Reilly had a more entertaining explanation for the Nov.

4 Democratic implosion: "Because the callow youth that watches your program didn't show up," he said to Stewart, whose "Daily Show" draws a young audience over which cable news executives slobber."

Well, if being a Jon Stewart fan is wrong, I don't want to be right.
