John Mayer Performs 'Love on the Weekend' On The Tonight Show

After three years, John Mayer has finally returned with a new single titled, "Love on the Weekend," and recently stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a live performance of the track.
Fallon introduced Mayer who took the stage guitar in hand. "Love on the Weekend" is reminiscent of Mayer's early works with it's light alternative sound and subject matter.
The overall track has the feel of another radio hit on the way for Mayer who has had plenty of success in the past, bridging the gap between alternative, blues and pop sounds.
Mayer latest single is airy yet manages to keep you fully attentive. The performance was smooth and the fans really seemed to enjoy it given the big ovation he received when it was over.
Mayer is setting the tone for a longer project quite nicely with "Love on the Weekend," which is now available on iTunes.
