To many sushi can be a pretty hard food to wrap your head around. Raw fish isn't exactly appetizing, that is unless you've had some good sushi.

In Blake Shelton's case, Jimmy Fallon helped him break into the world of sushi during a recent trip to Nobu. Hint, it was hilarious.

The first obvious joke came from Shelton and Fallon having a shot of Sake.

Fallon described it as a type of "rice wine," however, Shelton called it "rye swine" so it's easy to understand the confused look he had on his face before trying it.

They toasted to being best friends and Shelton had no idea why Fallon was doing this to him.

Shelton dried the pickled ginger first and described it as having the texture of pre-chewed gum. Fallon moved on to the first course of sushi.

Shelton tried the tuna roll first and says the texture was like Play-Doh, however, he liked it.

He tried the yellowtail role but was not a fan at all. They tried a could pieces of sashimi after and Shelton was not having a good meal experience.

Shelton did like the "rye swine." If there is one thing you can take away from watching this it's that the sushi isn't a hit with Shelton, however, the rice wine or "rye swine" is definitely a favorite of his.
