Jim Jefferies, the Australian Comedian, has weighed in on gun control once again.

This time, he did it via his Facebook page. It was a response to American citizens outraged by the fact that President Barack Obama spoke about gun control in the wake of the Charleston shooting tragedy.

"Why do people get upset when The President talks about gun control after a shooting. 'Now is not the time.'" Jefferies posted to his Facebook page. "When would you like him to do it? Christmas? When?"

Jefferies' gun control routine was the centerpiece of his most recent video, titled Bare. In it, Jefferies rips the NRA, gun activists, and common pro-gun arguments.

He also talks compares the gun situation in Australia to that in America, and states that gun control has worked effectively in his native country.

The aftermath of the routine has proven controversial. Jefferies has posted messages from pro-gun activists that he's received on his Facebook account. In addition, he's countered their arguments on social media.

Prior to his gun routine, the staple of Jefferies' routines was religion. An outspoken atheist, Jefferies makes fun of religion, particularly Christianity, in his older routines.
