Coming off a great week in Austin for SXSW, Jessy Lanza continued her USA takeover by kicking off her opening tour with Cut Copy last night in Nashville, with a slew of dates across the country over the next couple of weeks.

To celebrate the occasion, Lanza put together a new mixtape for Modular that's a perfect blend of hip-hop, electronic and R&B, with cuts from Tink, Shlohmo, Ty Dolla $ign and more, with her signature style peppered throughout.

Lanza is a force to be reckoned with, as the Los Angeles Times categorized her "beguiling mix of deep, minimal bass music" as "some of the best music I saw" at SXSW. The Guardian loved her "brilliant" set that was "less like a gig and more like you're entering another world entirely," while The Oregonian came away saying, "Jessy Lanza emerged as one of the week's best singers with a gorgeous, minimalist electro-pop set at the Hype Hotel." Listed in VOGUE's Best Music Acts from SXSW and called "the SXSW breakout act you need to know" with "one of the most exciting voices in music right now - quite literally," by Refinery29, this is just the beginning for the Hamilton based artist, who released her acclaimed debut album, 'Pull My Hair Back', last fall on Hyperdub.
