A scene from the movie portrays "the boy next door" giving Lopez a first edition copy of "The Iliad." WTFark! points out that "The Iliad" is "a 3,000-year-old Greek epic poem that only existed as an oral tradition until the 10th Century, when it was first written down in the ancient Greek manuscript." He found it for "a buck at a garage sale."
