It's election time, and while Howard Stern debated about whether or not he was going to vote on Monday, he eventually decided that yes, he will.

Stern said, "I vote every election, and I encourage you too." There are a few proposals in New York, and Stern urges voters to vote "Yes" on Proposition 1.

The purpose is to reform the process of establishing new state legislative and congressional district lines that are required every 10 years.

Robin said she was going to vote, but admitted she had done little to no research on what she would be voting on. The New York State Board of Elections is proposing three ballot propositions.

"Vote no on Proposal Three," Stern said. Proposal Three--The Smart Schools Bond Acts of 2014--asks for education benefit expenses to be raised up to two billion dollars. With the current loan situation, Stern doesn't want to feed in to that.

"What happened to the lottery money? The lottery was supposed to take care of education," Robin said.

According to the NY Lottery website, "The New York Lottery contributed $3.17 billion in fiscal year 2013-2014 to help support education in New York State, nearly 15 percent of total state education funding to local school districts." Apparently, it was not enough?

If you're registered to vote, take Stern's advice, and do it!
