Sunday was the anniversary of Eric The Actor's death and the Stern Show paid tribute to him in grand fashion by playing some audio from him, as well as a musical tribute from Jewel.

"Howard said that yesterday was the anniversary of Eric the Actor's death. He said they love Eric," according to MarksFriggin.

"Howard said Jewel is coming in and she's going to do a tribute to Eric the Actor. Robin said he'd be beside himself.

Howard said Eric would complain about it. Howard played a song parody about Eric the Actor. Howard said there's a video that goes along with that and they'll have that up on the web site today."

Later on in the show Jewel sang to the tune of "Ting Dancer" with the subject matter being Eric The Actor and how much he complained about the things he did on the show, according to the MarksFriggin recap. Eric The Actor was a beloved Wack Packer on the Howard Stern show and tragically passed away on September 20.

The Stern Show will be remembering Eric on Sternthology all week on Howard 101.
