After a couple weeks of vacation, Howard Stern is back to his SiriusXM radio show and did not hold back his thoughts when it came to the 2016 MTV VMAs and some of the performances.

Stern told his fans and listeners that he did get a chance to watch the 2016 MTV VMAs, however, according to Stern, it was horrible.

"Howard said he likes Rihanna's voice and all but they gave her a lifetime achievement award. Howard said she performed a few times during the show. Howard said she's really hot," according to MarksFriggin's rundown.

"Howard said she looks like a party. He said she looks like she's out of her mind. Howard said she sings well though. Howard said she didn't even make an effort to lip sync though."

He praised Rihanna's looks while criticized the fact that she was receiving the Michael Jackson Video Van Guard Award at the same time. As for Britney Spears, Stern had a couple of harsh words for her as well.

"Howard said Britney Spears was there trying to make a comeback. He said there seems to be something really wrong with her," according to MF.

"Howard said she's really out of it. Howard said he was watching these young women wearing hardly anything.

He said that they just wear panties. Howard said he comes from a generation where people kept their pants on when they sang. Howard said it wasn't about the panties."

If that wasn't enough, Stern briefly talked about rapper, Desiigner and said he had no idea what the artist was talking about. Howard played a clip of this guy named Desiigner who spoke at the VMAs.

Howard said he had no idea what this guy was talking about. His overall message to his listeners was that the VMAs seem to be on a decline, in his opinion.

"Howard said the VMAs used to be great. Howard said the viewership was down this year. Howard said he misses MTV. He said everyone must watch videos on YouTube now," according to MF.

"Howard said the ratings were highest in 2011. Howard said this year only 6.5 million people watched."

Stern continued to talk about the hosts Key and Peele who he didn't really think worked out for the VMAs. It was yet another honest assessment from the Stern Show.
