By now the news has spread that Stephen Colbert's ratings have dropped to the 4th spot behind Seth Meyers and Jimmy Fallon.

Howard Stern addressed Colbert's ratings and even made a prediction as to what will happen as a result of the slip.

The Late Show With Stephen Colbert is suffering a pretty big drop in ratings due to Jimmy Fallon's huge surge to the top. Stern addressed the situation by first sympathizing with Colbert.

He also equated it to what happened with him at WNBC.

"Howard said that Colbert has had a lot of success in his life so he feels for him," according to MarksFriggin.

"He said what's going to start happening is that the network will start giving him notes. Howard said that he had Program Directors telling him what to do early in his career."

Stern said that it was exactly what WNBC did to him at such a high rate they expected him to quit.

"Howard said he's sure that will happen with Colbert," according to MF.

"Howard said they'll start giving him notes. Howard said everyone is an expert in the business. Howard said they'll jump on the guy and make him nuts."

While on the topic for the Stern Show fans, Stern also said that Les Moonves isn't trying to foster any blame for bringing Colbert to CBS. He continued to clown Moonves in only the way that he could.

It's funny that Stern is commenting on Colbert's issues, meanwhile, Stern still isn't sure what his future will be with SiriusXM, that being said, Stern's ratings aren't suffering at all.
