The ever-popular Playboy Magazine will be doing away with nude photos and has begun a move toward more text. It's a move that Howard Stern supports and he was quite vocal about it on the Stern Show.

Robin Quivers initiated the discussion of Playboy's plan to stop putting naked women in the magazine.

While Stern is always vocal about how women look, he told Quivers that he was sick of seeing the girls in the magazine, according to MarksFriggin's recap.

"He said he actually does read it for the articles. Howard said when he wants porn he's on the internet, not in Playboy," according to the report.

"Howard said they've lost their mojo when it comes to the naked woman thing. He said they used to get big names for the magazine and people would get excited. He said that's kind of stopped."

Stern told his listeners that Jenny McCarthy wanted to be the last naked celebrity to do the magazine.

"He said it's almost revolutionary. He said there's a picture of Kate Hudson in the NY Post today and she's almost naked. Robin said it's all see through. Howard said Playboy might go to that kind of stuff."

Stern saw the move as an evolutionary push for the magazine. Some critics even believe that the magazine might sell more magazines, while others believe it is too little too late.
