While Howard Stern was in full support of James Corden as the host for the 2016 Tony Awards, it still doesn't look like he is a fan of Broadway musicals.

He shared his reaction to the 2016 Tony Awards during the SiriusXM Stern Show.

"Howard said that no offense to their friend James Corden but he couldn't watch that sh*t. Howard said he's so glad he's not an actor and doesn't have to do theater," according to MarksFriggin.

"Robin said theater is great. Howard said he can't take it. He said he skipped right to the movies and not the plays."

While Stern seems to want to ditch the Broadway shows, his wife Beth is trying to see Hamilton. Stern revealed that he was hoping they would not be able to get the tickets.

Stern did say that he believed Corden would be good at musicals and played some of Corden's opening number for his listeners.

Stern's big problem with musicals seems to surround the fact that the songs don't seem like real songs to him.

"He said it's just people saying sh*t over music," according to MF.

"Howard said Beth wants to torture him by taking him to these things. Robin said Hamilton is hip hop. Howard sighed and said he really doesn't want to go."

Stern also played a clip of Lin-Manuel Miranda, accepting a Tony last night and his exceptional speech that cam in the form of a sonnet.
