At the end of the last episode, we learn in a shocking truth bomb that Lila Stangard was six weeks pregnant before she was murdered.

On this episode, we hear the real story of her affair with Sam straight from the "dead, pregnant sorority girl's mouth."

The episode opens with a flashback of Lila and Rebecca hanging out together, snorting cocaine. "I met a new guy," Lila tells Rebecca, but won't say who. When Rebecca asks why, she says, "He has a wife."

After Bonnie told Annalise about Lila's pregnancy, Annalise turned to confront her husband, Sam, and tells Bonnie to stay. "I need a witness here to make sure you don't lie to me again," Annalise says to Sam.

"You lied when you said you didn't sleep with her. You lied when you said you were at Yale the night she was killed. I believed you like some fool," Annalise says. "So. Did you know she was pregnant?"

Sam says no. "No because you didn't, or no because if you say yes, you know that's motive to kill?" Annalise asks. "Are you lying?" But Sam promises that he isn't lying. Bonnie agrees, and says she believes him.

On this episode, Annalise takes on the case of Gretchen, who has enough evidence against her to send her to jail for first degree murder.

She says she doesn't want to go on the stand, but Annalise insists she does so she can talk about how she had no motive for murder.

But Gretchen believes that if the jury thinks she should go to prison, then she agrees.

Annalise tells Wes that Lila was pregnant, and that they will run a DNA test on Griffin to see if he's the father. She says this is good for Rebecca's case, but that she'd appreciate it if Wes didn't tell her.

She could act out in a way that would hurt her case.

"If you didn't want her to know, why tell me?" he asked.
"Because I learned my lesson about keeping secrets from you," Annalise said.

Wes immediately tells Rebecca. "Annalise asked me not to tell you," he says.

Wes and Rebecca's relationship is getting closer, but Rebecca obviously doesn't trust Wes to make their next step.

Rebecca meets with Nate, and tells him about Lila's pregnancy. He tells her she needs to get a hair from Sam, and that if it matches, she'll win her case.

In a flashback, Lila admits she lost her virginity to Mr. Darcy/Sam. Rebecca was present when Lila got Sam's picture.

Rebecca goes to Annalise and Sam's house, pretending she forgot or lost something, and Sam confronts her.

"You should go," he says. "You're welcome here when Annalise invites you, otherwise this is my house, and I'm asking you to leave." It'll be harder than it seems to get Sam's hair.

Meanwhile, the Keating 5 get to work on Gretchen's case. Gretchen took a sleeping pill every night, and it was difficult to wake her up from a murderous delirium.

Her son, Cody, testified on the stand to blame the pills for Gretchen's actions. On the stand, he admitted that he loved the woman his mother is accused of murdering.

Annalise was not happy about this unraveling on the stands, and bitched Bonnie out, telling her to do her job. "It's the only way I can stand your pathetic, lousy presence in my house," she said.

OUCH. Later that night, Bonnie approached Sam, and was about to tell him something vital about Lila, but Annalise angrily interrupted. Sam confronts Annalise about Rebecca coming to their house, and suggests that she knows about the pregnancy.

"Tell me what you want me to do here," he says to her.
"I'm gonna lose my case," Annalise laments. "Because all I can think about is you with that girl."

Sam admits that he broke their marriage, and he'll do whatever it takes to make it right again.

In a flashback, Lila cries to Rebecca about Sam wanting to end things. She also hasn't ended things with Griffin, and Rebecca doesn't know why."He's a Jesus-obsessed control freak that forced you into a virginity pact," Rebecca says.

"Is it sick that all I want to do is go over to his house and show his wife all the pictures of his junk on my phone?" Lila says.
"No," Rebecca says. "That is normal. Don't do that."

When Rebecca comes up short getting Sam's hair for the DNA test, she suggests to Nate that there has still got to be evidence on his phone.

The Keating 5 learn that the woman Gretchen murdered gave Cody an STD: trichomoniasis, and Michaela figured out how to win the case.

In court, Annalise confronts Cody's father about a conversation he had with Cody about painful urination they were both having.

She said the father was prescribed the same drug to treat trichomoniasis, and accuses him of sleeping with and murdering the woman.

"I'm so sorry," he says, and confesses to his crimes.

That night, Michael goes to dinner with her future mother-in-law. She and Aiden have been discussing a pre-nuptial agreement, and Michaela refuses to sign it.

Contrary to her mother-in-law's popular belief, she wants to mary Aiden because she wants to be with him for the rest of her life. But her mother-in-law threatens to cancel the wedding if she doesn't sign.

It's the same night as the bonfire, and the streets are rowdy with noise. Bonnie pulls Sam aside, and tells him that she met Lila the night she was killed.

Lila knocked on their door, crying that she needs to see Annalise Keating about her husband.

Bonnie sent her away, saying, "I don't know who you are, or what you're doing, but you need to calm down or you're going to regret this." Lila leaves, but tells Bonnie to tell her that she needs to say something important, that she can't keep it secret anymore.

"She was talking about the pregnancy right. That was the secret," Bonnie said, meaning Sam knew Lila was pregnant.
"What good would it do to tell her now," Sam said.

"I didn't hurt that girl, I swear. But we both know how much this would devastate Annie."

Then, Sam kisses Bonnie, and Bonnie kisses back.

Bonnie tells Annalise that Lila showed up at their house the night she died, and that Sam knew she was pregnant.

She broke down crying, begging for Annalise's forgiveness, and confessed that Sam kissed her. "He's not a good man, Annalise," Bonnie said.

"You're fire," Annalise says. "Leave. And don't come back."

Meanwhile, Nate and Rebecca work to get the files off of Sam's phone--and Wes sees Rebecca getting out of Nate's car.

He flips out, telling her that Nate is Annalise's boyfriend, and Annalise is setting them up. Connor and Laurel show up at Wes' apartment, while Michaela shows up at Asher's apartment and steals the trophy.

In the end, Annalise makes one final call: "Since Lila was pregnant, I'm demanding they collect DNA samples from all the men in her life, including her teachers," Annalise tells Sam.
