MTV Catfish's Nev Schulman is probably kicking himself now for the missed opportunity after ex-Miss-NY Meaghan Jarensky has filed a lawsuit to figure out who is behind a fake Match.com profile that uses her image and information.

The dating website will not release profile information without a court order, so that's exactly what Jarensky is filing to get.

Jarensky is married and was alerted to the issue after being contacted by a friend who came across the profile while using the site.

The profile, according to the civil suit Jarensky filed, includes "accurate details of her background and career in order to appear legitimate" and includes provocative commentary like being up for a "good time." Jarensky's mother told the New York Post that the impersonator is likely someone who is jealous of the former Miss NY and is doing this as an effort to tarnish her image.

Anyone who has watched Catfish knows about the people out there who utilize fake profiles to garner relationships and attention, and that too, is a likely possibility in this scenario.

Either way, Jarensky will have to wait for court approval to get to the bottom of who it really is; stay tuned.
