Once again Killer Mike and El-P completely rip another Run The Jewels track. DJ Shadow and Run The Jewels came together for "Nobody Speak" and it's completely raw, as if you expected anything else from Run The Jewels.
DJ Shadow mixes an old west sound with hip-hop undertones for a beat fit for badasses. It's pretty perfect as Run The Jewels go back and forth spitting raw lyrics about how hard they are.
They make it a case to showcase their "we don't play around" attitude and that always translates into hip-hop gold.
"DJ Shadow has unveiled a new song from his forthcoming album 'The Mountain Will Fall.' The track is titled 'Nobody Speak,' a collaboration with Run The Jewels," according to the caption of the Mass Appeal Records Soundcloud page.
"'The Mountain Will Fall' will be released June 24 on Mass Appeal Records and includes the previously released title-track, deemed 'rolling, meditative' by Vice Noisey and premiered by Pitchfork along with an in-depth first interview with DJ Shadow."
It's clear that DJ Shadow's The Mountain Will Fall is shaping up to be a pretty big release.
From hearing this new collaboration with Run The Jewels, it really gets us excited for what is to come in June.
