On Tuesday, Grav3yardgirl/Bunny Meyer took on the Pinterest challenge of creating MAC lipsticks out of ordinary crayons. Fortunately, or unfortunately, this product was generally a total failure, but at least Meyer made it an enjoyable watch.

The challenge started out hopeful. "You can create highly pigmented lipsticks like how many MAC lipsticks are highly pigmented," Meyer clarifies. The purpose is for these products to mimic MAC color quality.

What you'll need:
- crayons
- coconut oil
- a boiler
- little pill containers
- small glass bowls
- measuring spoons
- lip brush

Meyer recommends buying cheap tools and utensils, and she found most of her goods at "Bed, Bath and Beyond." "I've never done this before, but I bet there's going to be some waxy crayola residue," she predicts.

"You're probably not going to want to use something you eat out of regularly."

And she was right. TONS of crayon residue was left over over in the glass bowl, and Meyer is asking for any tips on how to clean it out for reuse.

Meyer made three colors: green, neon orange, and bright red. She originally thought she could apply the color with her finger, but the lip color is extremely hard.

The pin she referenced suggests using a small brush, though Meyer still found the product to crumble when she used the brush. She also commented that the product was extremely drying.

She followed instructions to get an opaque coloring, which required using less coconut oil, but re-made the green color using more coconut oil.

In the end, Bunny used an entire tea spoon of the oil to make it as creamy as possible, and the green lip-coloring proved to be semi-successful in that fashion.

"In my humble opinion, this stuff is pretty nasty," Meyer said. "It is very thick and cakey." She doesn't recommend it for any practical purposes, but perhaps for a Halloween costume or a photo shoot.
