The release of Netflix's Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life is just two days away and the stars are continuing their press rounds.

Recently, Scott Patterson, Liza Weil and Sean Gunn visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, to chat about what fans can expect and more.

Fallon said he was really getting into the show and asked if it was odd that he was getting into it so late. The cast gave Fallon permission to come to it anytime and Patterson said he had been lobbying for the return of the characters for some time now.

He told Fallon that the fans see it as a religion not a show and everyone has got the fever now.

Patterson said they felt like rock stars at the ATX Festival last year because of the reactions and how many people wanted to get into the venue. Meanwhile, Weil chatted about her character in Gilmore Girls v.s.

her character in How To Get Away With Murder. Weil said Gilmore Girls was a past tense thing until now but it was lovely to not have to do both projects at the same time.

Gunn said it feels like the show is more popular now than it ever was. Later on in the show, Fallon and the cast discussed the possible final four words for the show, however, they didn't reveal the real phrase.
