G-Eazy fans are in for a treat as he will be the opening act for the "Lil Wayne vs. Drake" tour in Austin on Sept. 6, Denver Sept. 10 and Seattle Sept. 14.

G-Eazy released his album "These Things Happen" back in April and generated a strong buzz from an artist who seemed to come out of the woodworks. Now he is joining Lil Wayne and Drake on their highly acclaimed tour which has featured a plethora of guests from Bobby Shmurda to G-Unit.

"These Things Happen" contains features such as ASAP Ferg and E-40 among others and was one of this years many solid hip-hop albums. Last night the tour stopped in Tampa and according to Waynes Twitter it was one to remember.

Eazy is clearly hyped for the shows as he tweeted, "Hella hyped to be opening for two of my big bros!" He is also preparing to perform for a sold out crowd in New Orleans tonight which is also evidence that his fan base is continuing to grow.

"G-Eazy has taken a different road, building a fan base outside of the major label system, putting him in a position to headline a show like this," says NYTimes.com of Eazy, "while the more conventionally known rapper opens.

And he appears to have his eye on a bigger prize."
