For the premiere episode of MTV's new thriller, Eye Candy, we meet two distinguishing and important characters.

(1) Lindy Sampson, portrayed by Victoria Justice (Victorious, Zoey 101), who is on the hunt for her abduscted sister in New York City, and (2) a psychopathic serial killer who finds his victims on the Internet.

(Rolling Recap: Complete Upon Episode End)

Lindy can be described as brilliant hacker with a shy side, but wastes no time in searching the NYPD database for her sister's name: Julia Becker. However, the database shockingly turns up no clues.

In the meantime, while single in the city after a recent break up with (now ex) boyfriend, Ben, Lindy is urged by her friends to try a dating app. Her online alias? "Eyecandy."

"Eyecandy's" first meeting is a hit: a tall, dark and handsome Australian lad who would love to go for a drink.

While out for a night at the club, Lindy meets various attractive men by different names.

Outside Detective Luke Callahan confronts Lindy about her unauthorized access to the NYPD Missing Person's database, and reminds her of the parameters of her parole--and she also receives a mysterious text.

Suddenly, a car whips around the corner and almost takes Lindy out. "That was a close one," the next text reads.

Shocked, Lindy returns home to do a search on the three dates she met that evening, until she discovered that she was being watched through her webcam.

In true hacker fashion, Lindy tried to reverse the camera and see who the killer might be, but instead was met with shocking and disturbing images. This means, the murderer knows her hacker skills are top notch.

Meanwhile, the same deadly stalker met his first victim: a pretty young blonde with "crooked" teeth, which proved to be one flaw too many, and was the trigger for the murderer to kill her.

To find the killer, Lindy goes on her dates at the club where she met them. First up was Mr. Aussie, who seemed pleasant and sweet enough.

Second was a blonde with blue eyes, who Lindy signaled that she didn't trust.

And the last was a dark-haired Asian man. In order to keep tabs on her dates, Lindy downloaded a hack to each of their phones disguised as a game.

When Lindy left for the night, she turned on the hacks in each of her date's phones, which gave her camera views of the phone owner.

However, when she turned on camera #3, she saw her own face, and discovered that Date #3 accidentally took the wrong phone. She chased after him to make the switch, but instead, found him brutally murdered.

To try to solve the crime, Lindy was forced to turn to her ex-boyfriend and police officer, Ben, for help. Despite their break-up, it's clear they still have chemistry, and the romantic relationship is far from over.

While Lindy was at home on her computer, the killer linked video footage of her friend Sofia's apartment, and the masked killer stalking her.

Lindy rushes out, and calls Sofia, telling her to get out of the apartment--but Sofia says she's at the club. "It's a recording," Lindy realizes.

Meanwhile, since Lindy notified Ben of what she saw, Ben went to Sofia's apartment to find the killer, and is now the target.

Lindy finds a computer screen linked to a video conversation with Ben, and Ben urges her not to go looking for him, that it's too late to save him. Shockingly, Lindy finds Ben on the roof, brutally murdered.

The episode ends with a voice over from the killer, stating that he needed to kill Ben, and one day, we'll understand.
