Despite only having the trailer for Disney and Tim Burton's Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children, it's already evident that Eva Green is the perfect match for her role as Miss Peregrine.
There is just something about Eva Green's natural talent for "peculiar" roles such as Miss Peregrine. Is it her ability to tap into a character that has a layer of darkness while maintaining the good? Possibly. Burton is a master at putting a slightly dark twist on literature that explores the wondrous worlds of the strange.
It seems to play right into Green's ability to find the middle ground and completely lose herself in her roles. From the trailer we can already see that she will own her role as Miss Peregrine.
Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children is based on a book series by Ransom Riggs that was originally published in 2011.
The film follows Jacob a boy who finds his way into the home and discovers all of the "peculiar" powers that the residents that inhabit it have.
The film is scheduled to release on September 30, you can checkout the trailer below.
