Well it looks like Meek Mill might have a lot more to worry about than falling into the shadows after the Drake beef.
During a recent visit to the Ellen DeGenres show, Nicki Minaj completely derailed the engagement rumors that have been circulating.
Minaj appeared on the show to promote the upcoming Barbershop: The Next Cut film. DeGeneres was looking at Minaj's hands for her engagement ring but couldn't spot it.
When she asked about it Minaj immediately responded by saying it was not her engagement ring. She revealed that she has two rings from a "boy that likes her."
She said that if she receives a third ring, that would be considered her engagement ring.
Minaj doesn't know if she is ready to get engaged and told DeGeneres that she and "the boy" who has to be none other than Meek Mill, are still figuring each other out.
"In fact I don't even want to say I'm in a relationship anymore," said Minaj during the interview. "Because I think when people hear that, they go to like the mean place."
She said that many people try to push her on her relationships, except for DeGeneres. Minaj told the host that in the past she denied being in a relationship despite being in a 12-month relationship and she wants to go back to doing that.
Her reasoning behind it was because on Valentines Day she didn't post a present on her Instagram page and rumors circulated that she and Meek weren't together.
She said that it wasn't actually true and they were actually in bed all day on Valentines Day.
Minaj said no matter how great your life is you can't try to impress anyone. She told the audience that you don't need to have anyones approval and that it is better to keep those things sacred.
In simpler terms, she is not engaged and she is single.
DeGeneres tried exploring the ring more but Minaj said that she and Meek are just two souls passing through the universe. You can watch Nicki Minaj explain her single life and more in the videos below.
