Blogger and book author Emily Schuman premiered the brand new, 43rd episode of her "Ask Emily" series on November 4. This episode, Emily answers your questions and gives her personal tips about how to be prepared in the kitchen.

Followers on Twitter sent Emily some of their burning questions they need some expert advice to solve.

Some featured questions are: "What do you prepare or cook on those nights when you finish with work late and are too tired to cook something that requires a lot of time? Do you have go to snacks?", and, "What are your top tips for making a really small kitchen work better?"

"It's really important to have your kitchen well-stocked," she says.

"For me, I always have time for making breakfast for dinner." Pancakes and waffles are some go-to favorites, but she loves to make an egg burrito. "That with some popcorn while watching a movie always works."

When it comes to grocery shopping, Emily likes to go with a recipe in mind. "If I go to the market, I will try to bring the recipe with me, or jot it down," she says.

She has also developed the habit of taking a picture of recipes that she can look at on her smartphone. "I typically get overwhelmed when I'm trying to figure things out on the go."
