Sen.

Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), the darling of the Progressive Wing of the Democratic Party, has announced via her Twitter that she will be appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman tonight, presumably to reiterate that she will not be running for president in 2016.

Warren has endeared herself to the Left by being a outspoken consumer advocate and became a household name after she defeated incumbent Senator Scott Brown in 2012. At the time, Brown had the highest approval rating on any incumbent in the country.

The race was also notable for being the costliest Senate campaign of all time.

Lately, Warren has been fending off grassroots efforts to draft her into running for president, going so far as to send a letter to the FCC stating that she is in no way a part of them.

However, the release of her New York Times Bestseller, A Fighting Chance, certainly hasn't helped dispel the buzz.
