'Dracula Untold' Tops Worldwide Box Office: 'Gone Girl' Stays Strong Stateside

As Halloween approaches the box office is being introduced to a new horror film each week and this week Universal's "Dracula Untold" tops the worldwide weekend box office which Gone Girl continues to impress stateside."
"Dracula Untold has been sinking its teeth into audiences the world over with an impressive first place finish of $33.9 million in the international territories and as bolstered by its North American debut nears $90 million globally," said Rentrak's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian.
"'Gone Girl' and 'Annabelle' continues to mesmerize audiences around the world with both already well over the $100 million mark. Marvel's 'Guardians of the Galaxy' enjoyed yet another strong weekend as it now approaches a whopping $700 million worldwide."
