To add to the long-standing success of the Dave Matthews Band, the band managed to raise an astounding $1.5 million for charity during a benefit concert at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA.

"The band, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, donated 100 percent of net proceeds from the show -- including tickets, merchandise, VIP packages and sponsorship fees -- to Charlottesville area charitable programs via its Bama Works Fund," according to Billboard.

"The concert was filmed for State Farm Neighborhood Sessions, an ongoing series about artists giving back to their communities. The piece will air on Turner later this year."

The band is continuing its Summer 2016 North American Tour that runs until the beginning of September.
