The young star who plays Davina Claire on CW TV's "The Originals" revealed some pretty cool news while hitting us with a super throwback from Danielle Campbell's "StarStruck" days.

In the photo below you can see Campbell in and Sterling Knight in the Disney Channel original movie "StarStruck" from 2010. Disney buffs will remember the film that was all about a quest between Campbell's character Jessica Olson and her older sister as they try to find a famous popstar, played by Knight.

While giving fans a nice flashback to her Disney days, Campbell also revealed that the director of "StarStruck" Michael Grossman, will be directing an episode of "The Originals" in season three.

Grossman has done a lot of work on Disney styled movies so it should be interesting to see how he does on something much more mature in content.

"The Originals" is scheduled to return on October 8, the same night as it's mother show "The Vampire Diaries." Yesterday amazing developments in "The Originals" were revealed as it was reported that Claire Holt and Casper Zafer (the original Finn) will be returning to "The Originals" cast, according to TV Guide.

"We've always understood that the Mikaelson family, the brothers and sister, had to flee in the wake of Esther's death by Klaus' hands," said producer Michael Narducci in the TV Guide report.

"Klaus blamed Mikael and said, 'We have to go.

Our father is insane,' and for a very long time Mikael chased them.

So wouldn't it be cool to see the family not long after that? What was their state of mind? What were their relationships like? How did they relate to one another knowing Mikael was out there somewhere, and they're relatively new vampires so what was their existence like? I think it might be surprising and interesting."

So it looks like fans will be in for one heck of a surprise come season three of "The Originals."
