YACHT, a conceptual pop group based in Los Angeles, have released their new single "Plastic Soul".

The video for "Plastic Soul," directed by Whitmer Thomas and Clay Tatum and produced by the YouTube comedy channel JASH, and is an adventure through Gulf Shores, AL--the birthplace of the cheeseburger in paradise--captured on handheld cameras. Viewable on YACHT's customized website for the single, plasticsoul.tv, as well as YouTube, YACHT have released this statement regarding "Plastic Soul": It's 2014, and you've awoken to find yourself alone for the first time in months. Your serotonin levels are at an all-time low. For as long as you can remember, you've been relentlessly battered by millions of corporate dollars targeted directly at your valuable eyeballs.

And it's still boring. Snapchat sucks. You've even worn out the most exciting long-player that came wrapped in non-disclosure agreements just to delight you. When you think you're losing it, this is your theme song.

YACHT is the brainchild of Jona Bechtolt and Claire L. Evans, whose wide-ranging interests and deep-seated ADD cause YACHT to frequently metamorphose: from band to belief system, from disco infiltrators to punk rockers, from performance artists to graphic designers, publishers, sculptors, or philosophers. - via Motor Mouth Media.
