It's a big opening weekend for The Conjuring 2 domestically as the film rakes in an impressive $40.4 million in its opening weekend. However, Warcraft continues its worldwide domination with another $210.2 million worldwide.

"Universal's 'Warcraft' declared box-office war this weekend with impressive global takings of $210.2 million and cumulative total to date of nearly $300 million," said comScore's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian.

"On the scarier side of the ledger, Warner Bros.' 'The Conjuring 2' earned $90.35 million and proved that being a second installment is nothing to fear."

It will be interesting to see where Warcraft peaks however, it has been crushing it at the box office and doesn't seem to be letting up any time soon.
