A picture on instagram and a tweet are how Colton Haynes shows his appreciation to fans for making San Andreas number 1 and hinting at his desire for a sequel to the movie.

San Andreas is based on the premise that California will be hit with an earthquake so large that it leads to an incredible amount of destruction. Dwayne Johnson plays Ray, the Chief of Los Angeles Fire & Rescue and a father out searching for is daughter.

Alexandra Daddario plays his daughter, Blake.

Her mother, Emma, is played by Carla Gugino and helps Johnson's character in the search. Haynes plays Joby, a character with a surprisingly brief amount of screen time based on Haynes enthusiasm for the film.

The movie was released in theaters last Friday.

Over the weekend it made $53 million dollars at the box office, prompting it's launching it to the number one spot at the weekend Box Office Scale.

It was probably to be expected, though, as the only other new release last Friday was Aloha.

The picture is of Haynes, Johnson, Matt Gerald, and Todd Williams in their costumes from the movie, the Fire and Rescue uniforms. The men all look hot and heroic as the gaze at the camera.

Haynes captions it with "Thx for makin #SanAndreas #1 ! So happy for everyone involved. I think it's time for a sequel."
