Clint Mansell announced via his Twitter that he has contributed a score to a short film from The Gaslighting Project, a campaign to raise international awareness of child sex abuse.

The Gaslighting Project will release three videos over the next three years. The project's team will hold screenings and use the proceeds to bring support and rehabilitation to affected children as well as creating educational programs about child sex abuse.

The Gaslighting Project is currently hosting an IndieGoGo crowd funding campaign that ends on January 6th.

Clint Mansell is most known for his score to Requiem for a Dream (most notably, "Lux Aeterna"), a startling blend of electronic and classical music, and as director Darren Aronofsky's go-to guy in general. He has worked with Aronofsky on The Fountain, Pi, Black Swan and The Wrestler.

He is the former frontman of Pop Will Eat Itself, an English alternative rock band that was signed to Trent Reznor's (of Nine Inch Nails) Nothing imprint.
