Just when Chris Brown was moving forward with his career and completely away from legal issues things took a turn.

Liziane Guiterrez, the same woman who talked to TMZ after not being let on to a party bus with Jason DeRulo, accused Brown of punching her in the face.

Now, Brown and his team are immediately going on the offense, and it looks like they will be suing Guiterrez.

"Sources close to Chris tell us, he will be filing a lawsuit against Liziane Guiterrez, the woman who claims he punched her in the eye at a Vegas hotel," according to TMZ.

"She filed a police report and made statements to others about the alleged incident. We're told Chris will be filing a defamation suit against her, as early as tomorrow."

What stands out the most in the entire debacle is the message that Brown's manager Mike G left on Instagram.

He made a point that Guiterrez was seeking "false fame" and was disappointed that the story was getting more coverage than Brown's random act of kindness by donating cars and toys to Jessica Roncalli and her daughter.

Brown is celebrating the success of his recently released album Royalty and is still facing difficulties performing in various countries overseas after pleading guilty to assault in 2009.

Guiterrez and Brown both responded to the incident but it looks like Guiterrez may be fighting a losing battle here.
