Chet Faker will release his debut full-length album 'Built On Glass' April 15 on Downtown Records/Future Classic.

The 12-track debut LP was over two years in the making and follows the lead of its first single "Talk Is Cheap," crystallizing Faker's wide-reaching aesthetic into a singular vision that fuses languid R&B, classic songwriting intimacy, house music immediacy and the dusty thump of golden age hip-hop.

Faker announced details of a month-long headline North American tour in support of the album, kicking off May 16 in Boston.

The tour will see him hit major cities including New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, Chicago and more, as well as a spot at the May incarnation of the Sasquatch Festival.

The release of 'Built On Glass' follows Faker's most successful year to date. 2013 found Faker on the road in the US, selling-out his first headline tour and supporting Bonobo on major dates across the country.

He also flexed his collaborative chops, releasing the sultry single "Melt" featuring Kilo Kish, which has gone on to be his biggest original single garnering over a million streams.

Faker also teamed with fellow Australian Flume for the Lockjaw EP, whose video for first single "Drop The Game" has received over two million views.

Earlier in 2013 he also guested on Say Lou Lou's single "Fool Of Me," which received a coveted "Best New Music" designation from Pitchfork.

Late one night in 2011, the Melbourne-based songwriter and producer--real name Nick Murphy--recorded a cover of Blackstreet's "No Diggity" for a few close friends.

They passed it on (and on and on) and the internet fell in love. Eventually the track became a worldwide hit and was featured on his Thinking in textures EP, released in 2012 via Downtown Records.

An artist of considerable range, Chet Faker excels at crisp, soulful songwriting that merges late-?90s R&B with a contemporary electronic palate influenced by a youth producing house and disco.

He performs all of his own music, giving it a warm, homespun feel that also sounds like one of the world's sultriest bands cranking at full steam.
