Chemical Guys Detail a DeLorean DMC-12 to Celebrate 'Back to the Future' Day

Today marks the exact date that Marty McFly traveled to save his future children.

The film made a few predictions for the year and date of October 21, 2015 and featured the classic DeLorean DMC-12 vehicle.

In the spirit of celebrating Back to the Future Day the Chemical Guys released a fun video on how to detail your DeLorean DMC-12,

that is if you're lucky enough to have one.

"Our team got to experience a day like no other when the DeLorean arrived at Chemical Guys for a full service detail," said Jennifer Olvera, Media Director from Chemical Guys, in a press release.

"Imagine having an opportunity to sit in, drive and even detail the Back to the Future DeLorean Time Machine. So we did just that, we gave it the Chemical Guys passion and shine."

While a lot of the audio in the video actually plugs the products used on the vehicle, it's still worth watching to actually see the vehicle that Marty McFly and Doc Brown used in the film.

It brings on a feeling of nostalgia if you happen to be a fan of the films.

"As with other movies dealing with the future, such as '2001: A Space Odyssey' (set in the early 2000s) or 'Blade Runner' (set in 2019, which will be here before you know it), the predictions of 'Back to the Future II' are hit or miss: big-screen TVs, yes, Mr.

Fusion, no; virtual-reality goggles, yes, 'Jaws 19,' no," reported CNN.

There is also speculation around the fact that Nike may have been setting to release a limited run of the Marty McFly's Nike Air Mag, the cool self-lacing and light up kicks that McFly wore in the film.
