Actor Bryan Cranston is promoting his new book "A Life In Parts" and told a story of how he and his brother became murder suspects.

On his visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Cranston gave a little insight into the situation.

Cranston explains that he and his brother took a two-year motorcycle ride across the U.S. in the mid-70s and picked up jobs here and there.

One time they were in Daytona Beach and they took up a job at a Polynesian restaurant called The Hawaiian Inn.

Cranston said they were waiters and the head chef was Peter Wong. Cranston said that Wong was a great chef but a horrible person.

It was the first person he ever met where he realized that he hated Peter Wong. Cranston said he was miserable and mean.

During a pre-dinner meeting, Cranston and the rest of the staff were chatting about how they would kill Peter Wong if they had the opportunity and he said he would slice him up.

It was all a joke and when the season came to an end, he and his brother took off back up North.

After they left, the police came into The Hawaiian Inn and gathered everyone that was there to question them about Peter Wong. The police asked if anyone ever talked about hurting or killing Peter Wong and the waiters all owned up to it. The police then asked if there was anyone who was not there that talked about killing Peter Wong.

The Cranstons left just after Peter Wong was murdered, so, naturally the police put out an APB on their bikes. However, they later on arrested Bill and Stan Johnson, who were the real killers.
