Christmas time is almost synonymous with the Doctor, who is much loved for his seasonal specials.

This year, the special will air December 25 on BBC America in the US, and will be titled "Last Christmas." Twelfth Doctor Peter Capaldi will star alongside Jenna Coleman as companion Clara, and Nick Frost.

Many rumors have been flying about the fate of Clara Oswald as Jenna Coleman makes her leave, and the press has been circulating the possibility of Clara being killed off in the Christmas episode.
