While Greg "Opie" Hughes has been vocally supportive about the idea that former partner Anthony Cumia may eventually rejoin him on SiriusXM, a recent Twitter post from Cumia suggests that the door has been closed.

Cumia has been successful with his subscription-based video and audio show, "The Anthony Cumia Show," and Opie has signed a new contract to remain on the air at SiriusXM. In announcing that deal earlier this week, Opie said he had spoken to SiriusXM executives about whether the door was open for Cumia to return.

He was told to give it more time, but Opie acknowledged that he was enjoying doing something different as was Cumia.

He also suggested that Cumia's new show may be so successful that he is actually making more money than his SiriusXM salary which has been reported to have been $3 million a year.

Opie and partner Jim Norton have been very supportive of their former partner on air.

Norton has appeared multiple times on Cumia's new show.

Opie has yet to appear and said he has not been asked on the air this week, but there does not appear to be any tension between the former partners (or at least any more than there was when they were on the air together).

No details of the new contracts for Opie and Norton have been released and it remains unknown if they would be free to work with Cumia on a project outside of a morning radio show.
