"What is Madonna telling us? Anybody know?" singer Annie Lennox asked in response to Madonna posing topless for Interview Magazine. Lennox was making a guest appearance on the U.K. television show, 'Loose Women' when she made the comments.

In the biggest pot-calling-the-kettle-black moment ever, show panelist Janet Street called Madonna's move "attention-seeking," to which Lennox agreed.

Annie Lennox, turning 60 this month, is not far from age than 59-year-old Madonna, but has been known to routinely criticize women for using sexuality to sell.

Lennox made news most recently for criticizing Beyonce after deeming her praise of feminism as '"feminist lite" that gets "lost in translation."

Aside from making news for her harsh criticism, Lennox recently released a jazz-inspired solo album titled "Nostalgia," which Chicago Tribune critic Greg Kot called a "dull ride".

Madonna has yet to comment, but as she's not a stranger to controversy, this is probably nothing for her.
