AltCar Expo Kicks Off Sustainability Week with Alternative Fuel Ride & Drive

AltCar Expo, the nation's leading forum for alternative fuel ride and drive, industry, fleet and public education and demonstration, will take place on Friday and Saturday, September 19-20, 2014, from 10 a.m.

to 5 p.m., at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. The City of Santa Monica's Ninth Annual AltCar Expo is free and open to the public.

AltCar will present the most extensive array of alternative fuel vehicles in one place, including: electric, hybrid, natural gas, propane, biodiesel, ethanol and hydrogen vehicles.

Participating manufacturers include: Honda, Ford, General Motors, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Smart, Volkswagen, BMW, Hyundai, KIA, ZeroTruck, & GenZe, among others. AltCar will feature North American vehicle debuts, lectures and demonstration opportunities.

The Conference is keynoted by Tony Seba, Stanford University, who will examine Clean Disruption: why the US will be using 100% electric transportation and 100% solar power by 2030.

AltCar will feature a Policy Forum Hosted by Assembly Member Richard Bloom.
