One of the many stars in the upcoming film Sicario, Emily Blunt, sat down with Howard Stern to discuss the film, her early life including her stutter and more on the Howard Stern Sirius XM Radio Show.

Blunt'a acting career came full force after her role in The Devil Wears Prada alongside Meryl Streep.

The conversation between Blunt and Stern opened up with a mention of her new film, Sicario, which also stars Benicio Del Toro and Josh Brolin.

Stern said that Blunt's character is a female FBI agent who goes around shooting everyone according to a MarksFriggin recap of the show.

Blunt revealed that the financier of the movie wanted a male agent and was willing to double the financing but stated that it magnifies the violence when a female actress portrays such a character. They two then got into a discussion of Blunt's early life and growing up with a stutter starting at the age of 7.

Blunt said that stutters are hereditary in her family and she was very aware of it.

She also said that kids did make fun of her but the stutter went away when she was acting in plays, according to the report.

"Howard said Emily says she was the nerd in school but that seems like a fabrication. Emily said that she couldn't talk so she wasn't the coolest," according to MF.

"Howard said she got rid of the stutter and she didn't do it when she was acting. Emily said it's like a removal of yourself from yourself.

She said she loved doing accents as a kid and the teacher picked up on that when she'd act that she didn't stutter.

She said that he asked her to do that stuff in a funny voice. She said it was great that he picked up on that."

Stern and Blunt also talked about how awkward it was for her father while he watched her in, My Summer of Love because she had to be topless in the film.

Blunt is married to John Krasinski and when Stern asked about her prior relationship with Michael Buble she wasn't quite willing to talk about it.

Blunt has done her fair share of sex scenes and discussed the clinical nature of it. Stern questioned whether she got excited during them but she said they were so clinical that she doesn't really think about it in that sense.

She did say that one of her co-stars got aroused one time and that in the situation it's best just to laugh about it, according to the rundown.

The interview with Blunt was quite extensive and she really hit a lot of fine details such as getting married at George Clooney's villa in Italy, joking about having her American citizenship rescinded after watching the Republican debate and being trained to use weapons.
