John Cena Officially Enters Himself To The 2018 Royal Rumble Match

The 2018 Royal Rumble match is shaping up to be a big one as a major WWE Superstar has entered his name into it. That person is none other than John Cena.

John Cena made the announcement earlier today on his official Twitter account. Cena missed the last few Rumble matches, so this is the first time he is entering since he won it back in 2013.

A sunny morning on the first day of 2018. Possibilities are endless, opportunities are plentiful. Time to #EarnTheDay because on January 28th, I'm entering the #RoyalRumble match and earning a chance at history @WrestleMania! #Raw

There were rumors a few weeks ago that Cena was going to win the Royal Rumble in hopes to become a 17 time World Champion. If he does that, he would break the record set by Ric Flair with 16 title reigns.

However, recently the rumors have changed as Cena might be involved in a match that is bigger than the WWE Title itself.

This has made people speculate that he could be facing the likes of Undertaker or even Goldberg, although nothing official has been set in stone yet.

Personally, I'd like to see someone fresh and new win the Royal Rumble match. Aside from 2015 when Roman Reigns won, all of the Rumble matches since 2013 have been won by older wrestlers.

Many fans are praying that Shinsuke Nakamura wins the 2018 Royal Rumble so he can go on and face AJ Styles for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 34.

Fans will rage if Roman Reigns wins this year to face Brock Lesnar for the Universal title.
