WWE Superstar John Cena is slowly transitioning to becoming a full-time Hollywood actor much like his former colleagues Dave Bautista and of course Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

Aside from being attached to a future Duke Nukem film, another movie he's set to make in the future includes a reboot of the TV series Knight Rider.

Screen Rant broke the news last August that John Cena is going to play the lead role of Michael Knight while the talking car of KITT will be voiced by comedian Kevin Hart.

Well in a new interview with Screen Rant, Cena describes what he currently feels about the new script for Knight Rider.

"Ehhhh, once again it takes a miracle to make a movie nowadays. It is still in the works and hopefully, it will come to fruition because the draft I read of it… I thought it was amazing."

It sounds like the film is still in production but at least a first draft of the script has been written and is "amazing" according to Cena.

Not to mention Kevin Hart is a great comedian as his films have been well received so far.

There's a chance the film doesn't get made, although this all depends if all of the factors can finally come into fruition. Most of Cena's recent movies have been made and have been quite successful so far.

Anyway, you can catch Cena this weekend in the movie called 'Blockers' and then next week he will be at WrestleMania 34.

The next big film he will star in is Bumblebee coming out in December 2018 with Hailee Steinfeld playing the lead character.
