As the release of the Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice film continues to draw near, yet another cast member appears on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. Ben Affleck showed up for a visit and sat down to talk about Jennifer Garner, their kids and even got the scare of his life courtesy of Wonder Woman.

Affleck plays the role of Bruce Wayne/Batman in the Batman V. Superman film and is the second star from the film to visit the Ellen DeGeneres Show this week.

Yesterday Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) visited the show but it was Batman's turn to shine.

DeGeneres and Affleck got into talking about his kids and said that it was nice to see him and his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. She believed that it is a wonderful message to send to everyone.

"Absolutely. You know, we're good friends and we're doing our best and our kids are fabulous," said Affleck.

Then DeGeneres jumped into discussing Batman and wanted to know if he made the decision to play Batman and whether he thought about why he would want to take it on. Affleck says he wouldn't have done the down the middle version of Batman but that's want the director wanted. He says that director Zack Snyder showed him the storyline and what he wanted Batman to be now instead of copying what Christian Bale and Christopher Nolan did. He also wanted to star in a movie that his kids could see.

He says his son thinks it's really cool and was pretty suspicious as to whether or not his co-star Henry Cavill was the real Superman.

Affleck jokes that his son is going to need therapy because he keeps telling him that he's going to the Bat Cave.

Of course it wouldn't be the Ellen DeGeneres show if at least one of the cast members didn't get scared. So, Affleck fell victim to one of DeGeneres' scare pranks and it was absolutely hilarious.

DeGeneres started by asking about his co-star Gal Gadot so there was a hint to the scare.

Affleck said he was actually scare and couldn't hold back his laughter after seeing the footage. You can watch his interview with DeGeneres and his scary moment in the videos below.
